Meet Lexi’s very first rescue ~ this is Dougan! She rescued him 12 yrs ago and he was her constant companion. She brought him home from a kill shelter where they had found him on the side of road in a box.
Lexi’s very first Black Oak Hollow rescue, Jax! His first day, October 3, 2017, at Black Oak Hollow! Going against her dad’s wishes, as soon as dad left on a business trip, Lexi Looked at me and said come on Mom, lets go rescue a pig! A rip to West Virginia and back gave this little boy, a home forever here at Black Oak Hollow!
Meet Puddles! She has found a place here at Black Oak Hollow as well. She is so friendly and loves loves the water and pool!
A barn yard mix of chickens find a home ate Black Oak Hollow. A mama and her 7 pullets!
Skippy joins our family at Black Oak Hollow. He was rescued at birth by a gentlemen who could no longer care for him so he joins our family here at the Hollow!

Not a rescue but a loving adoption~ Augustus was adopted, cared for and saved by our loving daughter Alexis! He will forever be a part of Black Oak Hollow.
We welcome Willoughby to Black Oak Hollow. Willoughby was found wandering the streets in town! We are so glad she has joined other potbelly and Juliana’s here at the farm. July 2020
